Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She's most famous as Bo of the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and teaches drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her first childhood memories of watching TV and going to rehearsals for shows. Silk featured in a number of commercials when she was a kid. Silk received her degree from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Her early theater experience includes at least two plays with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto in Canada, which was the beginning of the month of November 1999. Then she moved into Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she first saw him in 2007 during the Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. The couple was engaged the year 2009 and wed at a civil wedding ceremony in December of the same year. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows at the Jewish celebration in Fredericton after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk had a child who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron was her second son born on 13 May 2016. Silk is famous for her role on television in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by the Gemini Awards. She was hired as Bo Dennis, the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was expecting while filming the finale of the third series. The actress announced her baby's pregnancy to viewers during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special of January 6, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter on June 20th that the series was returning to production. The fourth season premiered on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. Silk's performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top Television Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Because of the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent internet following via social media.
